Later in the week, as we cruise along the eastern shore, there will be plenty of time for you to lunch at the Basin Harbor Club, visit a number of museum and historic sights like Shelburne, ride the gondola to the top of Jay Peak, stroll through Burlington, attend a symphony and even hike high up on the ridge of the Green Mountains along a section of the famous Long Trail. You’ll visit Ausable Chasm, window shop in sweet little villages, see Lake Placid or just spend some quiet days on board, reading, relaxing and sunning. You’ll have awesome views, across the lake, of the towering mountains, watch beautiful sunsets, see heavens come alive with stars and gaze at the moon-rise!
Then, revel as the lights of tiny lake towns begin to glow in the windows of dwellings whose inhabitants have looked out over this fairy tale scene for centuries! Your week will be measured in very special feelings here on these calm waters, on your floating island!
